Record all GPS locations for putting

When you arrive on the green, and tap At My Ball for your first putt, watchMynumbers recommends entering all of your subsequent putting GPS locations after the round, so as not to disrupt play.

Professional, elite amateurs and low handicap golfers may wish to record the starting location of all of their putts, though as a handicap golfer it is not essential to do so.

After your round, if you notice that the first putt does not have a GPS At My Ball marker, the word Putter is highlighted in yellow.

To rectify this, go to the strokes screen, select the entry at the top, tap on the fourth, black map box, zoom in with your fingers and press the location on the green where you believe the ball should have been marked At My Ball.

Tap Set on the first item in the Set Stroke Location, select Entered Numbers, and tap the green Save button.

The word Putter will no longer be highlighted. The remaining putts will also be highlighted in yellow.

The Enter Stroke Data screen will also highlight the hole distance number in yellow if the first putt location is not marked.

It is only necessary to tap on At My Ball once, when you arrive on the green. This marks the arrival point.
