Round review

After completing your game, you should review your round to correct any input areas, and all GPS locations before you view your results.

Generally this should take less than 15 minutes to review and update incorrect entries.

Always use Round Review, (selected from the Round Reports screen), to review all of your strokes and maps by hole.

During the round, depending on how you have entered your data, you may be confronted with issues, which include:

  • Inaccurate GPS locations
  • Certain entries will be difficult to record, such as recording two strokes in a bunker because it was too time-consuming
  • Number of pickups in Par and Stableford rounds
  • Not being able to tap At The Pin, because it will slow down play
  • Forgetting to tap on At My Ball
  • Not tapping on certain buttons like Going for the green, From Fairway Bunker, Rough or Green Side Bunker

When you are confronted with these issues on the course, watchMynumbers recommends you enter any missed strokes as penalties.

Make a mental image of the pin position and then correct them before you hit off on the next tee or at the end of your round.

From the Round Details screen, select Reports.

From the Round Reports screen, select Round Review.

On the right side of the Round Review screen, vertical colour button bars represent the strokes and putts during the round.

Press and hold the right-side vertical plain and move up or down to view all of your strokes and maps for each selected hole.

Every stroke and club used from the Tee and Fairway, distances and every putt distance from the flag is shown in the top section of the screen and the position of each stroke is shown in the bottom maps section, based on your GPS setting.

Tap on either screen to obtain an enhanced view of events on each hole.

A Green circle       around a club indicator, means you have nominated you are Going for the Green.

All positive strokes on the vertical plane go to the right, Excellent in green, Just ok in yellow.

All error strokes (Left, Right, Short, Long, Thin and Fat) go to the left.

Bad strokes are shown in red, and all of the critically bad strokes are purple.

The smaller positive Putting strokes also go to the right, Excellent is light blue, and Just ok is green. Poor putting strokes go to the left, bad putting strokes are light red and critically bad strokes are light purple.
