Copy tee

Once a tee (for example the Red tee) has been created with the par, distances, index numbers and all of the GPS coordinates for every hole, you may want to use all of this content, for say a match play course.

The existing Red course may be identical to the Red – Match Play course, except for the index numbers. To create a Red – Match Play tee, you first must create its tee name.

Under the grey Tee Configuration bar and regardless of the tee name in the box next to the large satellite image, tap on Add Tee. You will be prompted to enter a new name for this tee for example Red – Match Play, and press OK.

Tap on the grey box next to the newly named Tee box and select your own colour.

Tap on any colour and rotate the triangle to your desired colours. Once a colour is selected, tap on the green OK button to create your colour.

Tap OK.

You will then have to enter the par, index number and distances from the scorecard provided by your club.

To copy the Red tee to the Red – Match Play tee, select Red tee in the box next to the large satellite image, tap on Done, then the Actions button and finally tap on Copy Tee.

You will be prompted with the message, ‘Copy Red Tee to.’

A list of existing tees will then appear.

Select the destination tee (the new tee you just created), and in this instance select Red – Match Play.

Copy Tee – Are you sure you want to copy all Red tee settings for all holes and apply them to Red – Match Play tee?

Select Yes.

Make the necessary updates and tap Save in the centre of the Course – Name screen.

Unlike the Add Tee function, where the par and index numbers are only copied, the Copy Tee function copies everything (the par, index number, distances, and all of the GPS coordinates for every hole) to the Red – Match Play tee settings.

Update the index numbers for every hole for the new Red – Match Play tees by tapping on any hole number or any item on the hole number’s line. The cursor will move to the Edit Hole screen.

Make the necessary updates and tap Save at the bottom of the Edit hole screen and again in the Save button in the centre of the Course – Name screen.
