Creating tags

Create one or more Tags so that you can see all of your rounds played, and effectively search and review your data later. Just think of a tag as a filing cabinet. For example, ‘I want to put all of my rounds in one file, and other rounds in different files. I always put all of my rounds in one file, but I will also put some rounds here, and others there.’

The simplest tag name is your name.

This is automatically created from your profile and all of your rounds are placed in the Played by Me folder.

You can also create and attach multiple tags to each round, e.g. Tag 1: Steve BRODIE and Tag 2: Steve BRODIE – Wet Days.

These tags allow you to generate reports in watchMynumbers. For example, if you search your performance using the ‘Steve BRODIE – Wet Days’ tag, watchMynumbers will generate reports using all the data in rounds tagged, ‘Steve BRODIE – Wet Days’ to give you a comprehensive view of your performance on wet days. watchMynumbers recommends you use your name as your first Tag, which you apply to all rounds, e.g. Steve BRODIE

Tag all your rounds with your name tag (e.g. Steve BRODIE). You can add any number of existing Tag names to your round by tapping the Tag box in your Round Details screen and selecting it from the drop-down list. These additional tags, and tags for other players are filed in the By Tag section of the Round History screen.

To view all of your rounds, search by your ‘NAME’ tag.

Run a report for all of YOUR – 1st Round, and you will see the current round, all year-to-date first rounds and all your previous year’s 1st round results. You can also create a new Tag in your Round Details screen when you add a new round. Enter a new Tag name where it says, ‘Enter new tag’ located above your existing Tags.

If you are a player coach, tags for all of your student players are filed in the By Tag folder.
