Entering your data – Off the course using your phone – Post-game stroke entry

You can use your phone to enter their strokes while on the golf course. Professional and elite amateurs in competition however, record data in their golf round book.

watchMynumbers has provided two methods for you to input information on and off the course.

You can either enter your data as you play on the course, or instead use the Post-Game Stroke Entry method, which is where you can enter all of your information post-game, off the course.

To record the day’s round off the course, tap Enter Stroke Data.

Tap on Post-Game Stroke Entry (rather than tapping on each hole number) to start entering round details.

Auto-Create Strokes entry screen will appear. This is where you will record how many Tee and Fairway strokes, Putts and Penalties you had on a hole during your round.

Once entered, tap Create.

A confirmation message will ask, ‘Do you want to auto-create the strokes for this hole’.

Answer No,  and you will return to the Auto-Create Strokes, where you can make corrections. Answer YES and proceed to the Post-Game Entry screen.

The Post-Game Entry screen displays the structure of strokes from the information entered in the Auto-Create Strokes screen, allowing you to select each club used, distances to the pin and the stroke quality.

You can update your data one stroke at a time, correcting the club used, distance to the pin and the quality of the stroke, or alternatively update all of your strokes, then all of the distances and finally the quality of each stroke.

watchMynumbers recommends you update the clubs used for each stroke, followed by all of the distances to the pin, and then all of the quality measures for each of their strokes.
