Fairway in regulation (FIR)

For all par fours and fives, having a Fairway in Regulation (FIR), means your ball landed on the fairway from the tee.

Fairway in Regulation (Is FIR) is automatically selected if the ball strike was Excellent, Just Ok, Short, Long, Thin or Fat.

If you make a stroke error and select either Left or Right, Not Fairway in Regulation (Default)

is automatically selected.

If, for example, your intention is hit the ball to the left side of the fairway and the ball did start down the left side, but because of a slice, the ball ended up on the right side of the fairway, you would determine that it was an error and label it a Right error.

By labelling it as a right error, watchMynumbers thinks it went right into the rough. If the ball did continue into the rough, the Default, Not Fairway in Regulation (Not FIR) is automatically selected.

As the ball landed on the right side of the fairway, tap on Is FIR.

When you tap Save, you will return to the strokes screen, which lists all strokes.

If it was a fairways in regulation stroke, FIR will be displayed on the strokes screen.
