The world is home to almost 40,000 golf courses, 78 per cent of which are located in just ten countries.
In the initial stages, watchMynumbers will not provide many ready-made courses to download, however watchMynumbers provides the tools to create your own course, which you can use and share with other players.
watchMynumbers relies on our golfing community to add their own course layouts to our database – which benefits all our keen golfers. The person best placed to help us keep our courses up-to-date is you!
If your golf club makes any changes, simply update your app with the changes and tap on the Up Arrow button in the Courses section of watchMynumbers and Share Directly with other members of your club and also share with the watchMynumbers community by tapping on Update or Add as a Shared Course.
watchMynumbers uses Google’s satellite mapping platform for all overhead views of golf courses in our Map reports. Almost all courses can be clearly seen, however the overhead photography of certain courses may be obscured by cloud cover, or other impediments depending on the time of the year the photographs were taken.
Satellite images taken in late November of courses in the southern parts of the United States and Europe may be slightly obscured or, depending on the type of grass used, golf courses may be brown rather than their typical spring and early-summer green. Seeing the changes made to courses are entirely dependent on Google Maps being updated.
