Putting colours

To explain how this colour matrix template works, we will focus on the outside 8 in the On the Green columns of the scorecard, for a 7 to 12 Handicap golfer.

Imagine putting your ball from outside 8 metres (or Yards) to the pin.

If the ball on the green is putted from outside 8+ into:

  • Inside 8 – Light Purple, it was a poor putt.
  • Inside 5 – Light Red, it was a bad putt.
  • Inside 2 – Light Green, it was an acceptable putt.
  • Inside 1 – Light Blue, it was an exceptionally good putt.
  • In the hole – Bright Blue, it was an excellent and unbelievable Putt.

The same principle applies to the other On the Green zones, up to 8, 5, 2 and 1 metres, (Yards or feet).
